My new top from @northernreflections is luxuriously soft, the print is unique and I love the style with a handkerchief hem. I’ve paired it with comfortable drawstring pants, from Northern Reflections. They also come in charcoal.Northern Reflections is a quality Canadian women’s clothing company, I’ve been a happy customer over the years (since 1985 when the first store opened) and I’m delighted to collaborate with a company who cares about our environment and values SLOW FASHION.#southampton #sunset #lakehuron#sunset #southampton Ontario #lakehuronStyling my floral top with white jeans and red jeans. #florals #magnolias #fashion #fashionbloggerStyling my floral top with red jeans and black faux leather pants. #florals #fauxleather #fashion #fashionblogger #thrifingStyling my floral blazer with white jeans and black faux leather pants. #fashionblogger #florals #whatveganswearI always find something I like at Northern Reflections 🇨🇦(Canadian women’s apparel store). So many worthy comments already echoing my thoughts so I won’t go on and on being repetitious .I am so glad that you can find vegan foods. I keep trying, without much success, so I simply minimize my consumption of animal foods.

Hi lovely Carmen! It looks like a wonderful time you and Jean had. I would love to go to thrift stores or flea market but cant stand long, so will vicariosly enjoy your story Funny that you got some great shots in front of some really neat murals, I just came back from my Charleston vacation and have shots from some artisit there with a mural. I hope you are enjoying your Connecticut vacation, as I was on vacation the 20-25th. I am doing a 3 part post on my beach vacation to Charleston SC, so when you get a chance and want to stop by, I would love to share my trip as well. Neat about Bill Murray, he seems like he would be down to earth. I love love , the white jacket on you and your adorable taupe flower purse You look wonderful. Love jean’s dress , especially with the tatoos! Enjoy your trip!

I, too, noticed that Jean’s dress complemented her tattoos.

My darling girls … you guys should be so proud of your genes! Lovely youze guyz, but genes don’t always supply the great taste you both display so consistently! So happy you got to rock the Big Apple as a team. Excellent!

It’s easy to find great backdrops in NYC, the tricky part is waiting for people to pass by. I sat by a statue of Jackie Gleason and there was just no way to snap a photo without someone in it.
Have a great day!

Great backdrops, but the real works of art is you and your daughter. 😉
Can’t wait to see your palazzo pants!

Awww thank you Joni! Coming from an artist, that’s quite a compliment! You know I admire you very much!
I can’t wait to wear my palazzo pants. I’ve had them almost a month and still haven’t worn them. Does that ever happen to you? Sometimes I wear things home right from the store!
Fashion is a form of art! 🙂

Carmen in white with capris, the best combination, or at least, my favorite combination. Opening this post, a few words come to my mind, beauty, elegance, happiness, balance, Audrey … All of them help me to describe the wonderful scene that means seeing a happy mother with her daughter. A daughter with which it shares many things. You stay in NYC is a beautiful holiday, where fun meets with happiness, a perfect pairing. Your happy face clearly shows.
As I said before, I love to see you dressed in white, you already know. And I love to see you wearing your capris. The shirt is cute and capris are the hallmark of the queen. The top, red and white, and ballerinas, animal print are the perfect complement to the outfit, I really like. Everything matches perfectly, even that small purse that I like.
Vegan meals round the post, and demonstrate, once again, that your blog is special, art, health, beauty, landscape, smile …

Thank you dear JM! I am fortunate indeed to share this fashion hobby with Jean and enjoy an awesome holiday in NYC! My mind is still spinning with activities and all the sights and sounds and tastes of such a fantastic time in a city I love (but only to visit)!
I’m glad you like my white outfit, it is the same shirt I wore the first time you commented on white and included me in one of your fashion reviews with all the ladies in white. This Elisa Cavaletti shirt is worth every penny, because I wear it often and it has had many appearances in my blog. The capris are new (only cost $10) and this is their debut on my blog ha ha!!
If you ever get to NYC, I will be happy to share a list of vegan restaurants; you will not be disappointed.
Your Queen of Capri 😉
