There’s something magical about snow: water that turns into tiny, delicate flakes, each one is different, light as wee feathers that float down from the sky covering everything like a cozy blanket. The sight is breathtaking!
Time to wear my white winter faux fur jacket that I have had for years. It’s made right here in Canada by Joseph Ribkoff. My hat is hand-made from the Huntington Beach market in California bought in 2005.
While the weather outside may be frightful, the sight is quite delightful. Our treehouse has a carpet of snow and snowy pillows on the chairs. A bit like a scene from The Chronicles of Narnia. How sad if winter had no Christmas!
The forest behind our house feels like we’re walking in Narnia and I swear I saw Mr. Tumnus through the trees this morning. 😉
