Fair November

Christmas is around the corner with only a month before we light the Christmas candles and sing Silent Night. Until then there’s shopping and preparations, decorations to put up.

One of the things I enjoy are Christmas markets and artisan fairs, like: One of a Kind Show in Toronto, Christkindl Market in Kitchener and Fair November in Guelph, Ontario. It’s great to shop Canadian and support our local artisans!

I wore neutrals; brown mini houndstooth coat, brown corduroy leggings and brown faux suede boots. My DIY necklace is an idea I got from Jean.

The blustery weather did not keep shoppers away from the annual handcraft sale this weekend. Vendors displayed their art, a feast for the eyes (and taste buds!), everything from hats to socks, and home decor, toys, food and lots more! I’m amazed at the creatively and variety of the show. Best part is that the admission is free!

Bumwarmers are great for leggings and so many delightful patterns to choose from.

bumwarmersWe celebrate Christmas and the true meaning of this season, that’s why I say Merry Christmas and wish everyone peace and joy!!

  3. I love the way you styled that necklace! It’s different than mine. The silver beads and varying lengths are great touches! I like the idea of a bum warmer. Practical and stylish. It really is great for leggings! They really need to be worn with a long top (or short top and bum warmer! Craft fairs are so fun. I also like to support local artisans and I’m glad you got to go to this one.
