The weather is dreary and drizzly today. The sky is as gray as my coat and trousers, so I’m brightening things up with my I Love Lucy umbrella and red rubber duck boots.
I bought this 3/4 length coat (with asymmetrical design, three big silver buttons down the front and matching buttons on the cuff) at RW & Co. The trousers were bought there too, but I want to alter them and make them skinny jeans, like Jean did with her orange boot cut pants. Clever idea and I think they’ll look better.
The coat has a subtle plaid pattern and flares out below the bust-line. I bought the lacy gray scarf in Niagara-on-theLake. The black and gray striped hand-warmers were bought in Seattle.

I’m 61, feel 21 and act like a kid with my two grandchildren! They call me ‘Mimi’ which I love because it sounds youthful (my grandson called me that when he was able to utter his first words) and not so ancient like ‘grandma’.

In Catalonia it does not rain for many days that do not, and we need it, we still have summer heat. Your umbrella is fun, and your look, in gray, I really like. The coat is gorgeous, I like the pattern and color. No more pirates of the Queen? Just kidding. I like to see so, and the shoes are gorgeous. The next day show me the sweater with these sleeves so pretty. A hug, Queen of the Pirates!
