My new Dance Page is here!

For all my dancers!! I love you guys!! ❤

I have finally started my Dance Page (thanks to John who video recorded this dance last Wednesday). John was recording a dance for his own use when his battery was dying, I had my little camera with me to take some class photos and he suggested using it. This teach was very quickly done but I thought it’s a start and I decided to put it on Youtube rather than just send the video to John, that way everyone can practice!

I posted it yesterday on Youtube and woke up this morning to check if there were any views. To my astonishment – Ira Weisburd (the choreographer of CUMBIA SEMANA) wrote a kind comment (check it out)!! Had I known he would see my video, I would have done a better job! 😉

Here’s what I wore for my unplanned video teach. I literally threw this outfit on Wednesday morning in my usual rush to get to class. Had I known I was going to be doing a youtube video that Ira would see, I probably would have been late for class trying on various outfits. Sometimes it’s better not to know what the day will unfold. Less stress!!

turquoise and blackIra is amazing and I love his choreography. Two of my dancers went to one of his workshops recently. I missed it, but hope to go next time he’s in town.

      Aww thanks, Bob!! I’m very fortunate to have such a happy occupation!! And what a bonus; to stay physically fit and great brain training!! It’s one of the activities we can do to keep our brain healthy!! Dancing reduces stress and tension and helps give us a positive outlook. But I’m preaching to the converted!! 😉

      Thank you, Joseph-Maria!! I value your opinions because I consider you a “fashion specialist” and I do appreciate that you always write such kind comments and have included me in your fashion blog!!

      I am very fortunate to have a job that I absolutely love and actually get paid for doing something that makes me so happy!!! 🙂 Besides keeping me fit and healthy and happy, I meet wonderful people and they are like a family to me. Some have been dancing with me forever and some are new. Dancing together is a joy to my heart!! ❤
