It’s fresh and breezy sitting here at my computer while blogging. My white, pristine curtains blowing gently with a refreshing breeze coming through the window, the forest view is lovely! Sunlight dances through the leaves and the fragrance of springtime fills the space!
I still miss the river, but a forest has natural air-conditioning. It used to be too hot to sit on the balcony on scorching, muggy days (even with an awning) but here I can sit on my screened deck on the hottest days! It has a roof, so I can enjoy it on rainy days, too!!
My summer frock is great for hanging out in the tree house, I blend in with the backdrop!
The brass button detail adds a little style to otherwise plain leggings.
I love colourful sandals, but I never had a yellow pair till I bought these ones.
It’s like relaxing in a tree house–surrounded by trees and the sounds of gobbling wild turkeys, spring peepers and the birds serenading! Nature has a calming effect. Lots to be thankful for!!
Alex enjoys hanging out in the tree house as much as I do! I’ve always had a love affair with Teddy bears! Teddy bears make great friends; they are so comforting and they never tell your secrets!! Do you have a place where you love to hang out?

Love this teddy , he is huge… and lovely. Is he a Steiff one, he does look like it, my sister had one like that but small, same features!

Yes, it is adjacent to our house in the back, it is like a balcony, one floor up from the ground, so it’s a nice view from above the garden and overlooking the forest. Very private and peaceful. Great spot to have breakfast, entertain guests, relax or read a book.
