While visiting Costa Rica I got to see two gorgeous beaches (there are almost 300 beaches on the Pacific and Caribbean coasts of Costa Rica.
Tamarindo and Playa Avellanas have beautiful beaches with soft, pale gold sand, palm trees, and warm water to wade in (I don’t swim). There is plenty of wildlife; Howler monkeys, tropical birds and iguanas (I fed them papaya and even saw one crossing the street!).

Beautiful! I love Costa Rica. Such riches (climate, animals, plants, beaches, people). You’re tropical beach attire is elegant and appropriate for the hot days too! And Lola! Love her 🙂 I and happy to see a pampered pig. They’re so smart and funny. I recently learned pigs are great swimmers and enjoy the beach. When I take my dog to the beach, he has a blast. I can picture Lola enjoying the sand and surf too. If only all pigs were so lucky.

Thank you, Thomas! Lola is adorable! She’s bigger than she looks in this photo. As delighted as I was to see a pig being pampered like a puppy, it makes me sad to know countless others are suffering a miserable life and then slaughtered.
