I decided to wear these comfortable, colourful pants (on my trip to Seattle) after I got a compliment at one of my dance classes. “You’ll never get lost in the crowd with those pants!” At least, I think it was a compliment. Anyway, my husband won’t lose me and he’s always worried about that.
Gone are the days of elegant travel and nowadays people wear t-shirts and jeans. My pants-of-many-colours are still stylish, in my opinion. My grandson asked me why I’m wearing my pants inside-out, because he noticed the surged seams were on the outside. Very clever and observant of a six-year-old. I told him that’s the style of these pants. It won’t surprise me if he wears his t-shirt inside-out someday and calls it style.
I suppose style is a matter of taste. One woman’s style is another woman’s pajamas. Which is why I’m wearing these pants, I will be sleeping on the plane, and I confess, I have actually slept in these pants! Oh, the shame of it! I, who have criticized girls wearing flannel P.J. bottoms in public, am now wearing pants that I have used for pajamas–and wearing them on an airplane!
WHEW! We escaped in the nick of time, just before Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast, we arrive on the west coast!
P.S. I also have the matching hoodie, but decided to wear black instead. Actually, I only wear the patchwork jacket with jeans or black pants. Wearing both together would be a bit much, don’t you think? 🙂
